Pay Attention: Watch Out For How Robot Vacuum Deals Is Taking Over And What To Do About It

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever thought of get a robot vacuum, now is the time to get one. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date.  smart vacuum cleaner  is its camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes, and the pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often plough right through). It's the first robot to provide you with images of objects that it encounters, so you can instruct the robot to avoid it.

The Combo j7+ is also the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt with ease while leaving no trace it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning times and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean areas you do not want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it using voice.

The design is also superior to the competition. It has a sleek, top piece that resembles toys rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System automatically empty, which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ quickly eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place instead of scattering it on the floor. It even managed to take small gravel and sand that other robots couldn't do. And it did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.

The j7+, while not as smart as the Roomba S9 for $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and cannot clean the stairs, it's a good option for those who need both a vacuum and a mop. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to tell if they are working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for a vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the best choice is probably hybrid. This type of robot typically comes with a built-in tank for water that allows them to vacuum and mop your home simultaneously. They also have a range of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance and even the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. They're costly at retail, but usually are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock has some of our most loved robot vacuums, and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is the least expensive model of their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the luxurious features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent choice if you are willing to make some compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is notably soft around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a place which many robot vacuums often be a bit sloppy. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is fantastic too, with very little missing in corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled using a handful of buttons on the device itself or through the Roborock app. With the app you can start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and adjust your home map, or change the labels of rooms.

If you select the Q5+ it comes with a brand new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once in place the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It also has an impressive LCD display that is great to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't required for most people but it can help you effectively keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and functionality are among the best on the market however, it's also expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks beautiful and is able to be concealed when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is that it automates many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require you to do this.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the few robot vacuums I've tried that does a really good job of picking up debris on plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly in terms of navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the home. It also can't climb stairs as well as other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a cleaning zone for plush carpets.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent option for those looking for a  vacuum robot  that can do it all.

If you're looking for a way to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are many other options on the market. Many eufy models cost substantially less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and offers the same experience in the app, but with additional features such as the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and superior overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums that have the right balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping functions as well as carpets at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set it up, simply attach one of the side brushes and turn it on, then connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be located close to an outlet that has plenty of room to move.

The G30 is a small device that measures 2.85 inches in height, so it can be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is less ostentatious than some rival models, and features a sleek black finish and three physical buttons such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which cleans the area in an arc for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The primary characteristic that sets the G30 apart from its competitors is the way it cleans. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects it encounters, remembering what it's already cleaned and where it can't access.  robotic vacuum cleaner on sale  returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.

The sleek G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged more quickly and has the same battery life, while providing better performance on floors with no carpet and low-pile carpet. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be empty as often and comes with the boundaries to restrict it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating heavy materials such as cereal.
